On May 7, 2025, Forged Operations partnered with the Durham College AI Hub, a regional centre for applied artificial intelligence research and industry collaboration located in Durham Region, Ontario, the same region that is home to Pickering and Darlington Nuclear Generating Stations.
The partnership connects Forged Operations to Durham College's applied research capabilities and AI talent, supporting the development of specialized models for nuclear quality management. Durham Region's proximity to Canada's nuclear corridor makes the AI Hub a natural partner for a company building AI infrastructure for the nuclear industry.
"The problems we're solving are applied and domain-specific: how do you reason across complex, interconnected quality records in a way that's auditable and reliable?" said Kyle George, CEO of Forged Operations. "Durham College's AI Hub sits at the intersection of industry and research in exactly the right geography for what we're building."
Forged Operations is building the operating system for nuclear quality, connecting supplier qualification, document control, NCRs, inspection and test plans, training records, and audit readiness in a single AI-native platform for nuclear operators and their supply chains.
